Her Excellency Greta Holtz, Ambassador to the US Embassy in Oman in her welcome remarks declared: “The track record that the MABC has established, promotes not just greater trade and investment between the U.S. and Oman but also the development of the young Omani workforce. She highlighted that MABC, along with the U.S. Embassy, sponsored seven young Omani business people’s attendance at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Dubai last December, where the delegation benefited from networking with successful entrepreneurs from throughout the Muslim world as well as celebrity entrepreneurs and experts from the United States. She also noted that Embassy will host a webinar for prospective American investors on healthcare opportunities in Oman this month, as well as participate in the GHEDEX higher education fair and a major Intellectual Property Rights enforcement outreach in April. Furthermore, she reiterated Embassy and MABC support for the Ministry of Commerce’s and Industry’s inaugural U.S. road show planned for this May.
